Fun & relaxed makeover and studio portrait photography sessions in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

Visit the studio for an informal makeover session, approximately 1 hour for application of makeup by Melissa, followed by a portrait sitting aimed at delivering a disc full of digital images, ready to be shared with family and friends via email, facebook, ipod, usb, print, canvas...any way that you choose.

A typical sitting yields many high quality images, each sitting is unique of course but you may reasonably expect 50+, often more!

All images are professionally edited to a high standard and are delivered prepared for web usage (convenient for emailing, sharing via social networking sites etc.), as well as full sized versions for large screen viewing and digitally sharpened versions perfect for printing via your favourite processing lab.

Rather than offer very low cost sittings with a need for the customer to return and choose individual images to purchase, mid sussex photography supplies them all, subject to quality control of course, so...there are no hidden costs or surprises.

As indicated above, this is typically 50+ images, supplied as digital negatives ready to be printed if required.

With printing costs so low and quality so high these days, it is our belief that supplying all images and allowing the customer the option of printing just those that they wish is the way forward.

The Mid Sussex Photography makeover portrait package is an inclusive deal, VAT free, no hidden extras, the price you see is the price you pay.

Your makeup application (Approximately 1 hour)

All digital post processing of your images

Colour and black & white versions of your images

Online password protected gallery for easy review of your images

Supply of the digital images on CD/DVD (Additional discs can be supplied for £10 each)

Three copies of your digital image files are supplied, one set optimised for viewing on a computer, one set optimised for printing and one set optimised for web usage - perfect for sharing with friends and relatives via facebook and other social networking methods, emailing, storing and viewing on iphones/ipods, digital photo frames etc.

How do I check availability and/or make a booking?

What should I wear for the photographs?

First and foremost ensure your own comfort, wear something that you feel relaxed wearing and have free movement in.

The studio makes use of a white background so it is better to have a degree of contrast, I therefore recommend avoiding white if possible. Light colours are just fine, bold colours equally so.

Be adventurous, if you have a special dress or outfit reserved for glamorous events then why not bring it along. Feel free to bring a couple of costume changes, it's nice to have variety after all.

I don't usually like pictures of myself, can you really make me look good?

I can't recall anybody attending a makeover/shoot who didn't think the same about photos of themselves; usually due to most of these photos having been taken in poor lighting conditions with little thought applied to focusing, composition and whether the subject was actually ready for the shot to be taken.

With the makeup application complete you will look gorgeous, the studio lights will flatter you and the post production work will ensure everything about your images is a great as it can be.

The environment is very relaxed and informal, so remember 'You are beautiful and together we'll prove it!'

Will I be able to see some of the photos?

Yes. Whilst the final edited images will be available for review within a week or so, often less than that, I always make a point of showing images to the subjects as we progress.

Seeing is believing as they say, and beeing able to view images on the cameras digital display or the computer equipment is a great way of instilling confidence in all those involved.

Are you able to advise on, or even supply printed products such as canvasses etc.?

Yes. The typical end product from me is a complete set of photos, digitally edited and ready for viewing, sharing and printing as may be required. I am able to offer advice with regards to choice of processing labs for regular photo prints and enlargements, professional quality prints as well as canvasses and other larger print products.

Business partnerships with suppliers allow for great prices on canvasses, aluminium dibond and acrylic prints.
